Dosent remotely look like a 76 motor. the rear engine mount above the sprocket looks wrong for the 76 frame.
I thought I was wrong once, but I was mistaken.

It's a Works engine.. They were never anything like production stuff in that era!

So it's no good without the works frame to match??

Pretty much... You will never get parts to fit it either unless you're cashed up and have some good contacts

I have a friend that has an O26 Rolling Frame,The one that Per klitland rode and Mike Landman rode for a season, he would be very keen to buy that engine.

Sold for $6400!  Even in hard times 'works' stuff is still very desirable.
