Club practise SCMC Conondale

Hi all the Sunshine Coast motorcycle club are running a club practise day at Conondale this weekend.

For those who do not realise they run vintage as a single class on race days (as part of their grand prix series for all pre 90 bikes, 4 rounds this year all on a Saturday and 2 x 15 min motos!) and veterans for the modern bikes, so if you are interested it is on Tomorrow (Saturday)

Club membership is around 30 bucks and they run all classes including junior classes (they also have a family membership available).

popeye it was a hot but good day with lots of riding.

keep an eye on the website for the upcoming race meetings.

lot of the old school diehard vmx rides on hand for a pretty good roll up of vintage bikes (Me not being one of them as I ride the modern)

With BMCC not runing pre 85/90 and the QVMX having less meetings and more practice days the 4 at the SCMC would be a great ad on for any pre 90 / pre 85 riders or any vintage bike for that matter.

Glad you had a good day and thanks for that l will keep an eye on the web....  A couple of the BMCC and QVMX guy's and Girls went for a ride on the road bikes today, some old some new, you bring that VF1000R out for a ride one day...

sorry to seem a bit dense, but if you turned up with an evo bike, are you getting 4 races a day or 4 vintage + veteran or ........  ;D ;D

the race days are veteran on whatever you like
and pre 90 on whatever you like under 1990
2x 20min motos track is usually groomed up good
you could ride a evo in vets and pre 90 no problemo ;)

What Holeshot said but the pre 90 is only 15 min + 1 lap motos.

I don't know why more Qld vmx guys don't support these club days, it's the best track around and an Evo, pre 85 or pre 90 bike is suitable for both the vets and pre 90 classes.

I for one will definetly be coming to the next and future event's, l agree it is the best track in the country IMO, and right on our door step.

SCMCC are doing dirt track as well.  3 rounds I think so take your pre 75 racer and get amoungst it.
