G`day from Billet YZ.
« on: March 23, 2008, 02:26:51 pm »
G`day VMXers,
                    was a member of this great forum before the change to this layout and am still glad to be a member, i try not to miss a day of reading the topics on here as it keeps my interest in vmx alive and healthy. My way of keeping sane after another day of work, as you would all understand.

I am 99% a Yamaha man though i do have a few other varieties as per the list below, my main plan is to get the yz 465 h up and running and get on the thing to do a few laps asap.

Bikes as follows:   * yz 465 h (under the knife at the moment.)Good clean example to start with.
                         * yz 80 f   (pristine condition, has seen approx 2 hours of dirt.) Original condition.
                         * yz 125 h (needs resto)
                         * yz 80 j   (complete in a crate, needs resto.)
                         * yz 250 g (very good original condition,not going to resto only clean up.)
                         * wr 500 92 (resto done in 2003, ridden often.)2 stroke ball tearer.
                         * yz 50 h (70% bike, needs resto.)Wishfull thinking.
                         * yz 60 j (90% bike needs resto)Runs and rideable.
                         * rm 250 10/77 model (very good original condition,not going to resto only clean up.)
                            This bike has only seen dirt for about 30 hours, very original in every detail.
                         * Puch 50 x 3 (3 bikes should make 1 good one.)One day.
                         * xr 75 k4 (my wifes bike as a kid, ridden often.)Resto one day.

                         *Not vmx.
                         *kx 60 2005 model (bought new x-mas 2007. sitting in a shed since 2005, ridden once.)
                         *wr 450 2006 model.
                         *pee wee 50 2003 model.

That`s about it for me, plenty to go on with as time permits. Hope to see some of you guys around the tracks soon.
                   Cheers Peter.

No go for CD5 Hilly, bloody work gettin in the way as normal. Am trying to organise time to get to Tassie for a look as a good friend of mine lives over there and has a fair crack at the vintage stuff.
