Yamaha YZ250 A or MX250B White Bros cable rear brake conversion.
« on: February 12, 2012, 10:49:56 pm »
I just picked up this White Bros rear brake stay, made to convert a YZ 250 A/B and/or MX250/400B from rod to cable operation. My question is...does anybody know what cable I need? The seller was none the wiser either.

I saw that Mark, your going to have to make a front cable holder aswell and I reckon a PE250B rear cable will do the job...it will work with the YZ type rear brake arm....ie...it has a threaded rod for the ajuster.

Thanks John.....I'm going to try it on my Cheney which came with a cable rear brake which I changed back to a rod set up. The swingarm's still got the front cable mount thingy so it might just be worth a try.
