Petty "No-Dive"
« on: February 16, 2012, 03:52:57 am »
Anyone down under ever run a Preston Petty "No-Dive" back-in-the-day or even currently?

I have the two brackets without the heim-joints and rod (can make that), but would like to see some instructions on setup.  Thanks!

Hi TR, I ran one on my RM400C for a while in late 78. I was only thinking about it the other day. It definitely sat the bike up better for hard braking and for me being taller the more upright body position made it a little easier on my arms in those extreme braking moments. Most of us though ran them for about 6 months and moved on. I don't have any instruction booklets left but it was fairly straight forward to set up. The guys in this thread might have more to offer and their photos might help.
