YSS shock RM250 T
« on: January 14, 2012, 09:26:34 pm »
Just got some YSS piggybacks. Nice product and great service from Walter, thanks
Fit is fine and they hold me off the ground but a couple of things someone may be able to advise.
Have to mount them with reservoir backwards as they touch the frame when pointed forward.
But now when the bike compresses they will rub hard on the side number plates -what is the cure?
The bike is a rider so will slowly carve up the alloy reservoir.
Have tried spacers ( 1 cm ) between side panel and frame tab.
Almost clears it now and would not notice to look or ride.
Could also trim sidepanels to clear but that would look odd and I have all OEM plastic so not keen.
Will post photo when I figure out how !

I will be interested in photos of your shocky problem as I will be fitting new shocks to a 250n soon and have considered Yss units as a replacement.
Cheers Nob
