RM125T Gurus swingarm question
« on: January 18, 2012, 02:21:23 pm »
OK,i'm back onto my RM125T thats running an N swingarm.
I'm thinking about modifying it to fit the proper T chain guide and tossing the front roller and fit the proper T buffer......
Unless someone has a nice useable T s/arm going cheap  ;)

Anyways.....i've noticed that some/mainly US bikes and magazines show a bracket/guide on the RH side to protect the brake cable.

The brochures show no bracket and i haven't noticed any before....whats the go fellow yellow freaks  ;D

Monaro,
Both of my 125Ts have it...
Could be a bit of a mystery?

vmx42 is your bracket bolted or welded on?
I'm just a curious type of dude  :D like the rear brake cables didn't have the retainer to stop it spinning on adjustment, even though what you buy has them.
Here are a couple more...
With bracket

Without bracket

Yes  , they are fitted on my 125 - 250 and 400 T ....... If you measure back 200mm and 250 mm on the RHS from the pivot being  inside edge of your swing arm (Rm 125 T ) you will see 2  taped  mounting holes .    It is also listed as a spare part # 58622 - 40400 of which is no longer obtainable new.

sorry                                                                    58622-40200 =   Rm 125 T        available
                                                                           58622-40400 =  Rm 250/400T     NLA

Thanks for the measurements oldfart.....mine don't have holes because its an N arm.
I also just checked Alpha-sports and it still shows available (but who knows) at $2.40

Thanks again!

The 250 and 400 brochures show them with the brackets (and brake cables retainer thingy) but Alpha pics don't
show anything for the 250 and 400,even the holes on the arm like the 125.
Anyway i think its the typical Suzuki photo shoot stuff like the B arms on the RM125C and missing bash plates on the PE.

Case closed !
