With the occasional mention in a post that someone is from Mauritius or Wales or Texas, it intrigues me how wide this forum reaches. I personally would find this forum more interesting if I knew a bit more about the people on it. Within reason of course but the obscure handles tell us very little and unless I actually know the person behind that handle, I have no clue about them. Sure, I would eventually remember more about them but there are a lot of people on here and it would be great to have a clue or 2 to place them. Perhaps a bit more info about people against their handle will help newbys to feel more included. Often the posts I read seem like a personal chat room for a small clique somewhere rather than a wider chat room for the VMX community.
For those who put where you are from in the Personal Text field in their Forum Profile Information like I have thanks, it is interesting to know where you are from. For those who list their bikes and their Racing Number in their signature, that is good info to know. It would be good to know which club you ride for as well.
Just a thought anyway.
