Mark taylor just mentioned on the cricket that Rugby League Immortal, Big Arthur has passed away from a heart attack.
One of my childhood heroes and a Rooster legend.
God speed big fella.

Godspeed Big Fella....Not a tougher player donned a Rugby League jersey.
That's enough of a message for me to get rid of that excess 30kg :'(

I went and saw him & Tommy do one of their shows a few years ago and he put quite a number of  schooners away over the night, I managed to have a chat with him afterwards and his breathing was very laboured and I remember thinking then that given his considerable size that he just looked like a heart attack coming.
He definitely had a good time and was larger than life but gone way too soon at just 66.
