Yes and pricing is about right given its historic significance and owner. Whether the market can support that in NZ, not sure but most likely it will go overseas. Given its race history it places it easily in the Manx price range.

Not too many Ducati's qualify to be in that price bracket Alison. Plus the Bultaco has had a former world champion on it for its race history. I have seen it race a number of times and not sure too many
pre 65 bikes of any capacity would hang with it.

Remember I said not too many Alison, plus I have given some pretty solid estimate of Ducati single values along the way.... 40 K would not buy Steve Wynns Hailwood, or Imola green frame, you would probably have to add 150K to that. 40K would most likely buy you mint 750 green frame SS, if I had 40K at the moment to drop I would probably get twice as much as I would have got 2 years ago. So as investment I would be looking for round case SS, Manx or 7R, TZ750 OR race bike like the Bultaco where the right racing history doubles its value.
