I have a bunch of "363" , "364" , & "365" stuff on my MX250. I was surprised by how much the MX250/360 SC500 share between them during my rebuild.

Yes, 363 is the SC500. The first three numbers/letters designate the model.
What about 482 ?  what does that designate?

363 cover also some other stuff on things like Dt1 and onward, ther eis a lot of similar stuff for many models, but then just as many differant, a lit of springs and weird arse internals of a lot of things are 363 which i think carried over from the 72/73 parts then into a model designation.

Got the part today. Has Part # 363-#####-##. Was wondering if the dampering was set up for anything specific.

I didn't know a re-build kit was available from Yamaha. Nice pick up, two new chromed rods for $90.00
