Hmm just happen to have one of these that is narrow with strange shock placement.... does this mean using all the swingarm adjustment settings is legal

Don't take this as a personal attack, we all have different tastes, but even though that swing arm may be pre'75 legal, it is PIG UGLY!!! I wouldn't spoil any make or model with it, let alone a Husky.

Yep Mick, we indeed have different tastes but in this particular case I agree with you, BUT.............

I've got B&S swingarms on both my squarie Maico and complete B&S TM400 and think that the looks can be greatly improved by replacing the multi position shock mount with a simple singular shock bracket in the stock position and giving the arm a good blast or a good polish, depending on the look you want.

Agree it is an ugly piece of work in its raw form , however as Firko says their is a lot of room to improve its look . To fit it in its raw form would spoil the look of any bike , but with a little massaging it could be a cool piece of kit .

Here's a shot of my humble squarie at last years Bonanza showing it's 'unadorned' Boyd and Stellings swingarm. Note how simpler and neater it looks without the over gusseting as seen on Pete's new swingarm.
The swingarm has been on the bike since 1995 and has been used for a lot of motocross and dirt track and I haven't noticed any bends so perhaps the gusseting on Pete's swingarm might be a bit of overkill? The design is very similar to the OSSA Phantoms alloy arm and I don't recall any major drama's with them bending (although I have heard that they were prone to cracking).

More like rye whisky Jeff . Obviously you haven't experienced "quiet" Husky Pete in party mode . He's up there with Jonesy in the words per minute stakes! You're right though, he hoisted the swingarm up the flagpole to see who'd salute it.

Anyone know where I could get a set of the Chain pullers and washers that are in the original ad ? I have a 74 Cr125 swingarm by them and don't have those pullers   thanks tom

I don't like your chances of finding them mate . I think you'll probably end up having to fabricate them.
