2012 MA Nats
« on: October 06, 2011, 10:14:22 am »
The 2012 MA Nats for pre75 sidecars will be held at in conjuction with the pre75 VMX Nationals at Wyarralong m/cyle park between Beaudesert and Boonah about 1hr south of Brisbane next Queens b/day weekend.
This is a new site that has been set up by the powers that be (Govt.) as an off road rec park and as yet there is not even a track marked out-but be that as it may be, this will be a great event with support from both MAQ and Qld Govt. as they will want to use the event as part of opening the venue to the wider public.
Pre 85 outfits will be a support event only so if you want that coveted national title you will need to go abroad(to Tasmania)

No need, you just stick to the support stuff. Ow and you need to have candle stick shockies like mine to go with them drum brakes. ;D

Drums?  quite a few road bikes of that 1969-1975 era had disks ;)  Of course they are heavy and  mostly work shithouse :D and ya still gotta have the candle sticks...
I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.

The Lockheads on the Wasp work only slightly better than those wooden blocks on a cart so in some cases a drum might be better :D :D

I got a Lockheed master cylinder off a 1970's Wasp i dont need. It will need a seal kit though but they are the same as Nortons. Also i have a Wasp/Lockeed disc and a Wasp s/c swingarm.
