Hi Fellow VMXers,
During what was a great round of racing down at Fairburn Park last weekend (thanks Carl, Kel, Narelle and other Heaven Officials), I got talking to the Canberra club president who acted as the Raceday Steward for Sunday, a very nice guy and fellow dirtbiker helping offer the Canberra guys a fantastic facility it seems. He told me he and his team have been busy restoring the old Karma Gutza track back to it's original late 70s/early 80s format. He says they plan to license the track and hopefully run races next year. I have great memories of racing there, a classic true natural terrain MX track. Don't think I did too well but loved it anyway. I for one will be there with bells on to race if it all comes together. Maybe Heaven could look at a round there next year!
