Villiers 9E parts
« on: September 17, 2011, 05:58:33 pm »
Anyone got a box of Villiers bits in the shed?  I urgently need a 9E 4speed gearbox for my pre60 beast.  Also header pipe, manifold, gear lever and k/start lever - in fact I'll consider any 7E, 8E or 9E bits.

Anyone got a neighbour who's a little bit STRANGE - probably a Villiers owner - ask him too.

Mike

Yes Nametab is the firm to approach in England.  I have sourced them for parts in the past, and visited them when I was in the UK earlier in the year.  They are currently doing some work for me.
I'm sure that there are bits around in OZ which don't attract major freight costs, which otherwise aren't being used, and that's what I'm looking for.
I can just imagine using a Villiers engined chain saw to CARVE through the field!  (sorry)
