Husky 510?? Or is it?
« on: September 21, 2011, 10:07:01 pm »
Hi, i was just about to post up about my missing 1982 WR430 kick starter and noticed the thread from Mustanggrhame about the TE/TC 510 Husky's. We bought a basket case bike out of the trading post mainly for the rear shocks in the 90's when we got it home my Dad did a bit of research and was told that it was bought into Aus around Christmas of 1979 in bits and then raced? But i think that story might be a little far from the truth? Anyway it has pretty much sat in my Dads shed since then minus the rear shocks and the bottom end of the engine that has been sitting else were waiting to get rebuilt and hopefully still is. But looking at all the Pics in the other thread our bike is a bit different? And the frame number
CN 08665 makes the frame around 81/82 but what i'm not sure? Anyway i thought i would get some pics up of it and see what everyone else thinks it was is? Cheers, Dewy

Seems to be a 79-82 frame which has been cutten on the left side.
510 motor appears in 83.
