Craig Dack Yamaha
« on: September 26, 2011, 01:36:12 pm »
Hi - just had a call from Craig Dack, with the bad news that his 1992 Peter Jackson Yamaha was stolen yesterday.  Craig advised that "It’s my 1992 Peter Jackson YZ 250 race bike. It has many special parts most identifiable is the works Ohlins forks, the only set of its kind in Australia, Ohlins shock, magnesium clutch cover, Pro circuit exhaust and muffler and lots of other little special parts scattered over the whole bike."

Naturally, Craig is pretty shattered about the theft.  So please if you hear about this bike or are offered the bike or any of its parts then contact the Police.

That sux. I hope the cops catch the little drug addled 'waste of space' come 'oxygen thief'  before they split up or damage the bike.

Man that really bites, remember the bikes well, sucks to get any bike ripped off but worse when it is one with a lot of history. Daresay it is now spray painted black and doing laps of a pine plantation some place.  >:(

Has he got any neighbours or businesses nearby that may have some sort of security cameras??

Great news..
Really though what could you have done with it..you'd have to keep in the pines as Marcfx mentioned or inhouse "in our world it would be found as it has been"  8)  :)

Yeah usually most MX bikes turn up eventually after they run out of gas.

That is great news I hope the bike is 100% he will probably be paranoid from now on I am after having a few things go missing.

You'd be suprised how many criminals are out there I have an alarm on my shed and it is in a locked yard but I am still really careful.

We had 6 gas wall furnaces stolen from the out the front of our shed just recently our mate across the road seen the truck pull up and the guy casually chucked them on and take off alot of oportunists out there.
