BSA A7-A10 frame
« on: October 03, 2011, 01:08:59 pm »
I'm in need of a pre 1960 BSA swingarm frame to suit an A7, A10 or similar in any usable condition. It's not going into a concourse resto so as long as its reasonably straight and reasonably cheap I'll be happy.

Re: BSA A7-A10 frame or C15 frame

Bump....But with a big change.
I've had a brainstorm. The idea came to me that my T100 Triumph engine might be a nicer fit and the bike be a shitload lighter if I used the smaller B40 frame but that pin in that balloon is that the B40 didn't hit the streets until 1961 and I'm planning this for Pre 60. The next alternative is a late 50's C15 frame which geometrically is very similar to the B40 item. So.......
WANTED:
Pre 1960 BSA C15 frame / swingarm, preferably straight and unmolested but naturally I'll consider anything.
(I'm aware of the frame for sale on US eBay and it's on my watch list but I thought I'd see if I can find one in Oz first.) ;)
