FRONTERA FORK QUESTION
« on: September 06, 2011, 09:37:47 pm »
Stan S recently very kindly donated a pair of forks for a project bike (thanks again Greg) He wasn't 100% sure he had the right fork tubes or springs though. The sliders are the black painted "finned" model not leading axle and obviously Betor with the Bultaco logo cast in situ. I believe they are supposed to deliver  200 mm of travel. My questions are how long should the fork tubes be (they measure 570mm) and what length should the springs be (the set I have measure 450mm) Any help much appreciated. Thanks Jerry

Thanks Huski. I will hit the man cave with tape in hand tomorrow. Let you know how I go. If your interested the Pomeroy replica build has regathered momentum after some family illness. Im also going to run it in some Vinduros with a Frontera tank, forks, Preston Petty headlight and tailight as well as different swingarm and LTR. Cheers Jerry

No worries jerry ! Always good to see a bully brought back , especialy a early/mid 70's Pursang, and even better something outside the square ( eg hotrod or replica)  - keep us all informed on how it's goin' . cheers
