Thank you all for adopting me…
« on: September 26, 2011, 04:30:59 pm »
Hi all – names Jac and I used to be a legend – just ask my mum……………. ;D

So Graeme asked why I wanted to join this group of VMX people so I responded with – “I am dumb enough to believe I can get back into desert racing on a KTM495 and beat the young whipper snippers on their pogo sticks. In reality the best I will probably achieve is a rooster tail in my grand children's sand pit..............”  :( :( :(

So I hope to be able to provide some input into the forum – I may look like a true KTM man but I used to be known as “Husky Jack” in the GMCC so I could help out with tips on 75 to 81 Huskys.

Thank you all for adopting me… :D

Welcome home Jac, when are you going to start paying board by the way? ;D
Do young'ns today still do that, probably a question for another topic.

Hi Graeme - I feel humbled that you would post a photo of my 495

Just one thing - the credit goes to the guys that restored the bike in the US. :P :P  I was looking for one to restor myself, however how can you not want this one - even the minister of finance approved......... :-* :-* :-*

So I also have a 250 and 350 that I am about to restor - I am also looking for a 125 to add to the fleet.

I have emailed you a hi and low res photo.

Thanks - Jac
