« on: August 26, 2011, 10:52:23 am »
Just in need of a few peoples opinions. Found a 1980 CR80 recently out the back of someones house thats in pretty good original condition. I dont really know much about the old hondas, just wanted to know what something like this would be worth before I make an offer to take it off his hands.

Ended up getting the 1980 CR80. Does anyone know where I can get a workshop/service manual, preferably a downloadable one or a scanned copy for free. Also what is the correct paint code for the engine/frame.

I rode 2 different friends cr80ra' when i was about 13 about 1983. One of thebikes beloged to Simon Kessings and the other was Michael Newbolds, i rode it at Pyrmont down near the fish markets / old glebe island bridge. There was a vacant block of land. they seemed so fast compared to my TS100... seemed like yesterday. The guys had many games of cat and mouse with the police around the streets of Balmain and Annandale

I have a soft spot japanese mxers with aluminium tanks. Two stroke classic Dirt Track...

Thats good to know smed. At a glance the only thing so far I might need is the stand but I will inspect it more and send you a message. Just ordered a manual as I couldnt find a downloable version and a few other goodies.
