Thanks Jerry ..got me doing a youtube search  ......these rider will always be remembered, its the 12 year old kid taking his mums 8mm camera into practise day and another kid who ends up with Mikkolas race bib in 77 and all the crowd that makes me wonder "were are  they now" --actually its the whole atmosphere thing really that i love

A quick search and I found out that ABC's World of Sports broadcast that race, so the cameraman may be part of that crew. Couldn't find any of that footage though. Some kid took this blurry 8mm film of the event:
