Jawa parts
« on: June 30, 2011, 12:45:56 pm »
I placed an ad in a local free newspaper wanting older motocross bikes and or parts.  This morning I had a phone call from a bloke in the Newcastle/Lake Macquarie area who has a couple of 250cc twin port Jawa motors and maybe some other bits. He is going to pull them out and give me a ring back later in the week.  I can check them out (just to make sure they are not CZ) so if anyone is interested in Jawa bits give me a ring 0249912255 and I will let you know what he has and how much he wants for it.

Freaky I went down today to have a look at the Jawa parts.  No CZ bits but he had 3 Jawa 2 stroke motors a couple of carbi's and other odds and sods of no real interest to me and I think probably not to you.  Had a phone call from a bloke called Mark and he purchased the lot for $100, cheap enough if you have need of them.  This brings me to the interesting part of my visit, he also has 3 1965 or there about BSA 650 twins (unit construction) which he wants around $4000 each,  They look to be in reasonable condition one comes with new pistons and rings.  Didn't have my camera with me so sorry no photos.  If anyone is interested ring me on the number in my first post and I'll put you in touch with him.

   Hi Steve
The BSA's appear to be complete lights the hole bit he said they may need rings etc and one of them has pistons and rings with it.  Let me know if you are interested with any luck I will be down that way next week and I'll see if I can get a couple of photos.
                           cheers Zane
