The scrambles looked as cold and windy as I feel at the mo.

1954 - no pits and no pit tooties - not a woman in sight!!! When men were men.........  ;D

Thanks Nutz, great footage.
EML's right, good quality for the era, some of the old stuff looks sped up but that looks pretty close, they still got around at a fair click on those old beasts.
Loved it.
I hope your Granfather is still with us? looks like he liked the sidecars.

I will be puting more up in teh near future, My garndfather took all of these movies, and there are quite a few hiding in a trunk wait to be converted to DVD.

Brilliant , film has it all.
Neat cars , bikes ,good racing , big turn out , plenty of spectators and even sidecars. :)

Its in a mag, the first 30yrs of motor cycling, results up to 1981, doesnt fit in the scanner to good though  :-\  thats a 1/4 of a page.
