Darrell Groat, from Moose Racing, Euroa, is the Hagon shocks distributor, but also races a Hagon Yamaha monocoque, in fact I think he's the current national champ in P5 500 : he also used to work assembling the things in the Hagon factory, so he'd be able to offer a clue re the numbers produced.

;D I first spotted his bike when he slipped past me diving down through the esses in practice at the Southern Classic at Broadford a couple of years ago : I said, "Ooh, a Hagon !" and then bloody near missed the apex into the second ess... :D

Vic Eastwood sorry.

Vic Elford "Fast Vic" is one of the most famous racing car drivers of all time from the 60's and 70's and many consider him the most versatile drivers ever and a legend for his Factory Porsche driving.

I used to chat by email with Vic (Elford) so you may understand why I typed that in.

yer 32 sounds more like it .Maybe the seller means 6 77 models which would have been the first year of production. They were made in 78 also I think and maybe 79

I knew someone would ask...it's actually a B50 Beeza but after BSA went down the gurgler they sold the remaining stock as Triumph TR5's. Alans has a TR engine # and Triumph lettering on the cases but for all intended purposes it's a B50.

FWIW the Ebay one for sale I would think is a later one than the other Oz owned one pictured on page one. Note the upper rear shock mounts on the Oz one are of half moon shape whereas the Ebay one and every other one I've seen pictured has squarer shape with choice of 2 mounting position holes. An article I was reading on the original announcement of them showed Vic Eastwood showing a bike at it's release and it had the half moon mounts so from that I presume the Oz one is an early build.

It's think it's one of the first built in 1977 and the only one ever built as an enduro with a fatter tank.

Who the fork is Vic Elford
I think he may mean Vic Eastwood unless of course the LeMans great Vic Elford flirted with motocross between sports car races. ;D

i read a great piece on Vic Elford in a sports car magazine a few years ago. They were talking about when the Porsche 917 was introduced and Elford was one if the drivers. The aerodynamics of the first cars were so stuffed that when they'd reach high speeds down the Mulsanne straight the view in the rear vision mirror would change to sky as the back end of the car lifted up.

Apparently a few of the cars came back with blown engines as the drivers figured this was the best way to get out of the deal ;D No telemetry back then, so hard to point the finger
