done a restro of this calibre.

Andrew George did a few bikes along the way and were always pretty good resto's.
I have seen this bike and aside from a few small aesthetic points it’s pretty much the way it left the Japanese production line.
I have a feeling that Andrew still owns this bike as he was the principal of Monster Racing.

A tad harsh there George. You really can't throw a blanket over everyone and presume to know the level of people's resto's. I'm sure everyone who commences a rebuild would aspire to have a rebuild of similar calibre. I'm not doubting the condition of the bike, it does look fantastic but not everyone can build them like that but I'm sure there are plenty of fellas out there who have built bikes to the same standard or even better. I know a few guys that rebuild bikes for a living.
As for the reference to Ted's bike well it's hard to compare apples to oranges. Ted's bike is modified. Generally whether it be a bike or a car people look for Authenticity, and that will generally pull the big bucks. From what I can see of that RM it looks the real deal. I would be hard pressed to say no to that one. 8)
