ACTMCC Club Series Rd 1 - April 10
« on: March 31, 2011, 03:57:39 pm »
Just over a week till the first round. All the usual fun classes - Classic, Over 35, Open 2-stroke. I'm up for Classics on the 75 RM125 and Over 35 on the 05 YZ125.

Who else is in?

Shame you aren't riding Pat, at least then there'd be TWO 125s on the grid. I took the RM out for a run yesterday after the summer overhaul and it went OK, but man. After riding nothing but the 05 YZ125 over the past few weeks it felt tiny. I haven't ridden the RM since last October and I'd forgotten how small it is. I will be interested to see how it stacks up against the other old bikes, so I hope a few of the regulars turn up to keep me company.

Hey Graeme, are you still in the shed getting your bikes ready for tomorrow?

They might even let you win seeing as it is your birthday. ;D

have a good one.

Thanks Woody, yes got them all sorted by 5 PM, so that's a good start. Weather tomorrow looks a bit iffy though...

OK, so that didn't work out... Weather was shite, ended up standing around watching the rain fall. On the positive side got to catch up with a few blokes I haven't seen for a while and got home in time to spend some time with my wife which is good for a few brownie points! What WAS interesting was the number of classics that turned up. Would have been a top day if it hadn't rained.

Next time.

BUGGER,
EA and I were both looking forward to some DT action today , left the River here at 5.30 with clear skies and it just got worse as we got closer to Fairbairn.
Anyway, great to catch up , track looked great but Huey had other ideas.
As Graeme says, next time !!
