Jeff Leisk Comeback
« on: April 01, 2011, 07:43:00 am »
From The West Australian Newspaper this morning:

"West Australian businessman, Jeff Leisk, has today announced his comeback to motocross competition in Australia.
The 46 year old stated that he has recently noticed how low the standard of motocross in Australia has become and felt that the time was right to come back to competition in an effort to win yet another Australian Motocross Title.
There are currently no plans to compete in any supercross events.
In a strange twist, Leisk will be riding the Chinese built Odes 450, citing reliability issues with KTM machines for that decision.
Leisk is currently taking part in an intense training program and will return to racing in 2012."

No it's true. I heard he was down at the tattoo parlour gettin' some ink and a couple of piercings. He said it was standard in any new mx racers contract…

Leisky is racing the Australian 4 Day Enduro in a couple of weeks time in Mackay along with a couple of other past champions Dave Armstrong and James Deakin.
The Masters class will be worth watching with these guys and Geoff Ballard battling it out :)

Be interesting how Leisky goes at the 4 day, I know he cut back on the beer and has been riding a fair bit lately even trimed up a little bit.

The A4DE has been postponed due to bad weather, and will now be held July 7 to 10.
