New to VMX
« on: April 25, 2011, 11:14:34 am »
G'day Guys,

I am new to the VMX scene, I have recently purchased a 1978 KTM 250 for a resto project (basically a basket case) so may need a bit of assistance locating parts etc (Most specifically a fuel tank). Aside from this I have only ridden new bike and currently also have a 09 KTM 450. I look forward to what the VMX scene can offer!!

Cheers

Thanks Graeme,

Close but not quite,

The 1978 tank was the last fiberglass, you can get repro one of the years before and after but no 78. Cheapest I have found is 200 euro used (needs repainting ect) and 600 euro NOS.

Thanks again
