Looking at buying my third IT 175 tomorrow, this time its a J (I already have 2 x H's )

This J is a basket case, which is all complete rolling chassis-  apparently blown 2nd gear, is this a common problem?, is it expensive to fix? are parts still easy to get for gearbox?

I have a complete transmission for an IT175 but I think it's out of an erlier one. I do have some gears & shafts from G/H/J's.

Would need to have the parts to compare though, or very high res pics

99% sure that the complete gearboxes are interchangable. Ratios are different G/H vs J/K. I think the 175G has a full wide ratio transmission while the later ones have YZ125G ratios with a lower first and a taller sixth.
The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.
