Just wanted to introduce myself. Started riding when my Dad bought me my first bike at 4 years old, a Honda (forgive him lord, he knew not what he did) atc70.
Have done the normal run of road rockets and dirt bikes, too many. Little bit of road racing in the 90's and a lot of dirt bikin in between. And you know, the bikes that I wish I had never sold, the ones I still would like to own? Two. My 1984 900s2 Duck and my 1984 wr500 Husky.
Got a 1983 yz490 and a 1988 wr430 in the shed amongst a 2005 kato (exceptional dirt bike, too good. Never fails, does everything very well.... yawn. Whats the fun in that?) and a 1971 T500 race bike.
The older I get, the more I appreciate the older bikes and the more I enjoy tinkering. THIS year is it. I'll sell some crap and pay my MA licence, get the yz together and go and have some FUN. See some of you at a QVMX meet soon I hope.
