cr250 83 seems to be flooding at mid RPM. wont rev up
« on: February 26, 2011, 11:43:05 pm »
So i got through the issue of the wrong piston being fitted to this bike, have now rebored using  a new wossner piston. thing is it will not rev up to the high range. seems to be flooding i have tried MJ down to 280, doesnt seem to make a difference. I have changed th jet needle everywhere i see the correct jetneedle for a VM36 is a 159 ... this size seems too short for this VM. and it had a 247 ... in it. Could this be the issue. i thought that timing was the prob, but i have noticed that there is no adj for this as one mount hole is slotted and the other is round on the mount plate. These CR's are funny cattle..

Any suggestions by you guys will be appreciated.
