Recondations for after market or original bar levers
« on: February 20, 2011, 04:27:01 pm »
Has anyone bought some levers that were awesome? I was thinking of getting XR 200 brake and clutch setup but they seem a little old now.
Surley there is something new and better?

For my Japanese bikes I use RM80X clutch lever assemblies for brake and clutch. Haven't found anything newer that is better (for crash resistance and ergonomics) and still available over the counter. They are not cheap though.

I run Magura's on all my bikes....you can buy them out of the states from Weekend Warriors for about $60 a pair....German quality forged alloy and you get a proper brake lever...not an upside down clutch lever.
QVMX.....Australia's #1 VMX club......leading the way.

Why do you need "new and better" Mick ? Maguras set the standard both then and now. I've tried 'em all and always end up with Maguras after trying the newer stuff. I do like the Chinese billet throttles though.

Do the new Magura's fit Yamaha cables?

Ask for the 8mm cable adjusters when you order.
