I took the PE400 out yesterday morning for another attempt at its first ride and it went awesome. Had no spark problems, all fixed with the new CDI - starts first or second kick.
Power - It is so fast I was in shock, I have got the gearing right now with the new 13 tooth on the front rather than the 15 and it is a missile. Front wheel is coming up in 1st, 2nd and 3rd and fishing tailing up the track in fourth.
I was taken back at how fast it was as I haven’t been on a decent two stroke for quite some time, it has more than I will ever use. I cannot imagine how fast the 500's must be.
I was enjoying coming around this tight corner in second then easing it on out of the corner, the back wheel would step out a bit then up comes the front wheel, I would change into third, the wheel would drop between the gear change then up she comes again. Just awesome.
