I don't remember the 84 250 having a gold rear shock cannister.
Is there any chance that it may have an Ohlins fitted into the rear?

Could be Rodney,but I  dont know about the red shock spring .I love the RH 250 (TS 250) pipe and silencer.Talk about paddock basher!

Stock the rear shock spring would have been blue so its been swapped out at some point.

Yep roger that Bahnzy,it is a real bitza,given that in the current NZ market you can pick up a clean US RM 250 1982-1985 for NZD$2500,I can safely say the seller is dreaming.....
