Suzuki RM 125 A 1976
« on: January 28, 2011, 07:47:28 pm »
For Sale

Suzuki RM125A – 1976 model.

Six months ago this bike was a low hours - nut and bolt original, nothing butchered but  had been left neglected for about 10 years in a garden shed.
I have given it a ground up restoration – it was completely stripped and given new parts mainly NOS -including but not limited to the following :-
Powder coated frame
Full motor rebuild – rebore to 2nd o/s NOS Suzuki piston/rings – NOS conrod – big end – little end – motor bearings – seals & gaskets etc.
Wheels stripped – spokes re-zinced – bearings and polished – are straight.
NOS consumables such as the cables –air filter – levers – springs – seat cover, swing arm bushes, chain guides, fork seals, inlet manifold etc
New DID heavy duty chain. Tank resprayed etc etc.
I have all the receipts
I have all the all parts taken off the original bike ie conrod – piston etc
The bike is not yet run in but runs very crisp and tight. Many hours and $$$ spent to get the bike back to original.
I am happy to provide any additional info over the phone on 0407 915 014 or email [email protected]
$2900.00
Thanks Pete

Nice Bike rtb..

Is it way too small? A bit of work with the heat gun or hot water could soften it enough to fit if it's close. Maybe some rubber friendly grease as well.

Gents,

The proud new owner of the RM 125A is 12 year old Mitchell from the Queensland VMX Club # 468. Fully sponsored by Grant.

Mitchell has made the decision to ditch the CRF150 in favour of the classic Suzuki A - as raced and developed by Gaston Rahier - World 125 Champion in 1975, 1976 and  1977.

(google him Mitch)

We would like to with Mitchell all the very best for his VMX racing career.
