'82-'85 RM80 parts required for project..RM80D
« on: January 15, 2011, 11:11:26 pm »
Looking for an exhaust from an '83-'85 RM80D/E/F
A magneto cover from '82-'85 Z/D/E or F model
A cylinder head for an '83-'85
and an inlet manifold for an '82-'85

think that's all but probably not ::)

An '82 exhaust would possibly go close also if you have one of those kicking around excess to your needs. Cheers

sorry, I couldn't get to the forum for the last day or so. Whitey, I kinda wanted an '85 but this '83 basically landed in my lap less the engine, pipe and carb :) Mario has the bottom end and Luke flung me a cylinder. If anything the only real mod I 'might' do after is fit a later model front end with the disc brake if I can find one. I wanted a blue frame/seat to match the new tank cover (can be seen on the shelf looking above the front  numberplate) but other than the personal colour changes it'll remain stock. Probably look pox but I'll try it and see :D Did you ever do anything with that 90ish RM250?

Mario yup, same bike ;) things have slowed the last few days due to work but it's cleaning up nicely eh ;D The engine parts needed to complete the motor may well be coming from a very helpful generous forum member and when complete will be the result of a combined effort of 4 or more members. Saved another one! ;)
