Saving YouTube clip
« on: January 31, 2008, 02:03:56 pm »
How can you save a YouTube clip to your hardrive?  ??? Can it be done? Seems its not possible, least not with my very limited CP skills. Cant figure it out, surely their must be a way saving those clips.
Anybody had any luck with this?

You can copy the "flv" file from the temporary internet files folder
Just click on "tools" on your browser bar
Then click on "internet options"
A new window (small) will pop up, click "settings" next to browsing history
Another small window will open, click on "View files"
The "temporary internet files" folder will open and you can search in there for the most recent item to find the "flv" file from the youtube video. Then right click and copy and paste in your video folder. Windows media player can play the "flv" files.

.FLV = download a flash player like Flv and you can play anything with that extention,

my freind told me a lot of porn is hosted with that extention and when you 'save target as,' you need that to view it offline later  :OP
