IIRC: yz1974 went and looked at the 'new' YZ465J (yes, that's how it was advertised), and decided that it was very nice but not new. There were several wrong parts on it, including fork boots and tyres suggesting it was a resto (or partial resto), and it therefore wasn't worth the asking price.

And sorry, I don't have one nor know of one.

SOMEONE UP NORTH   ADVERTISED A 465 AND SOME ASKED WHAT WAS IT WORTH  AND IT WENT ON FROM THERE  I THINK THE OTHER SO CALLED NEW BIKE WAS A SEPARATE ISSUE

Hoony I think there is a good YZ465 for sale here in NZ. I believe the motor has been done up and its a very nice bike. It has a J seat and tank on it. pm if you like and I can find out more.
