This a pic from a very early Denco Speedway engine, is there more information about this Denco.
The Denco was made in Christchurch - New Zealand.

That Britten V Twin engine made by Denco have the cambelts drive on the left side, on the 1 Cylinder prototype on the right side.
So I think that they used a later type Denco engine.

Dutch  ,

If you need more info you could always give Bob a call @ Christchurch 00643 3812111. The engines went well & were used here in Christchurch by a few local riders , some were also put into road racing frames & used for bears racing. They used to re use their oil so it made them good for road racing compared to the GM"s or Goddens we were using.  One engine was even put into a RM370 frame & used for MX & flattrack . There are still a few motors here in ChCh so by doing a little homework you may be able to hunt 1 out.  Cheers DP
