I was wondering if anybody has any photos in their collections from the 1980 and 1981 season of Trevor Williams on his factory Kawasaki works bikes, maybe from the Mr Motocross Series or from the 500 National Championships or the Victorian Championships. PM or reply on the forum - Many thanks.

The text says it's Henry Leatham.   He raced Vintage Nats at Broadford this year ... I raced these guys in the O/300 series, Gippsland Centre in 1979.   Boy oh boy, did I never ever win one!

Hands up if you DIDN'T have long hair in the mid-1970s!

This is a favourite image (out of REVS I think)  Circa 1980, and he's dropping off jump and about to sweep around bottom of the dam (which is to the right) at Broadford.  Probably Mark Hill in front.

Thanks boys , I was hoping for some clear ones from someone at the races back in the day, if anyone has anything, especially of his bikes from 80 and 81  I would be most appreciative.

Gday Doggy Digger, so did you end up riding that meeting and if so how did you end up in the Championship?

Regards Stan

Yep - I went.  Held my places in the series.  Peter Larkin and I became kinda friends during that b-grade series ...

Gordon fraser came over and threatened me for loose riding, in the A Grade on the day.   Which was true - cos I had to do, to try and stay near the A-graders.

It was a very hot day. Bumpy and white-powder dusty ... and I quit for good after that.  I could never get my monoshock to lean over in corners.   It all got too hard ... and man put beer in pubs ... and those confounding girls ....
But at least I never rode a CT1 from Ballarat to Coffs Harbour, chasing skirt
