Hello all
« on: January 25, 2008, 12:10:37 pm »
Greetings from America! I have been racing vintage mx for about 2 years now, and have really enjoyed it. Some of the guys I race with told me that a few parts that are hard to find here in the States might be availabe overseas, so I might post a request from time to time, otherwise Im always looking for some stimulating conversation from fellow vintage racers

Welcome and gidday to you; over many threads the Members personal bias for marques becomes apparent - and often in amusing ways.
What sort of bike/bikes do you race?
"Whadaya mean it's too loud?! It's a f*ckin' race bike!! That pipe makes it go louder - and look faster!!"

Classic Dirt sounds fun. I went to a similar event here in the States in 03. It was called Dirtweek, sponsored by dirtrider.net. Was there 3 days, and had a ball. I have a 73 Yamaha MX 250, recently converted to flat track, a 79 YZ 125, an 82 XT 250, an 84 Montesa trials, and recently aquired a 76 RM 250. I raced modern mx for several years and was getting burned out trying to do all the big jumps, etc. Thanks for the welcome.
