RM 400 magneto rotor
« on: November 12, 2010, 05:42:23 pm »
I noticed there is gouges in the magneto rotor where the stator sits. Is this something that will affect the bikes performance in anyway? Will it need to be replaced?

NO, but make sure your crank is running true and you have the stator centered over the rotor, if necessariy adjust it. You want to be able to slide a brass feeler guage all the way around. It must not touch the rotor.
