It really looks like a 75 frame to me , I have owned both a nice VR and 75 for parts not that there is much difference except the shock position.

Its definitely 73-74 VR frame. V75/VA frame had very diff loop behind the seat. Its got Lyall O'B's LTR rear suspension mod as Nathan indicated.
