This dosent seem right to me?
« on: November 06, 2010, 04:49:32 pm »
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Suzuki-RM125A-Big-bore-1976-VMX-vinduro-AHRMA-/220692042692?pt=AU_Motorcycles&hash=item33624553c4

1) Is it worth that sort of money?
2) Are the forks real or b items?
3) Can you fit a TS crank and piston into one of these?

Don't reckon the starting price would be any where near that low if they were indeed genuine Simons forks! They do look a bit like Simoms forks though which was the desired effect.

All Suzuki, easy to get parts, nothing exotic, just a bit of time and effort to make it what it is. Strong and torquey with a much wider power spread than the 125, not as much over rev though. Real easy to ride. The bike presents as new and practically everything other than the wheels is new. Cost more in actual dollars and way more in time than the starting bid.
Cheers,
K
