Cool!
There was a fair number of them around in the day, based on race reports in ADB. Most of the A&T bikes seemed to get the 'enduro extras' at the time.

Didn't read/hear of any being fitted with a 6-speed though - presumably from an IT or a YZ250G.

If you decide to move it on, I'd be interested (not sure where I'd find the money, but where there's a will there's usually a way...).

My friend at work still has one.
Can't remember what box it had 5 or 6 speed but it was wide ratio...maybe IT internals.
Lighting coil etc,complianced.
Not sure the last time he rode it but he won't sell it either  >:(

You sure it's an S, not a T??

I thought A&T only complianced the T.   Still have one of those compliance plates at home..

yeah, so is mine - mine's dated 2/88.  That's when the compliance plate approval was issued.  They were 1987 YZ250T's sold in 1988 with a compliance plate..

I do recall reading that A&T got the compliance plates sorted very late in the year - when the next year's models were coming out, which must have sucked for them.

The '87 YZ-T still had a rear drum.
