1   well, if it going to be far to fly or drive, l would CD8 to be at Connondale, or NZ at that great undulated track called ???

2  But also l feel that their would be some great undulating natural terrain around Camberra District.

3  Ternunda district, would be nice to go back too.

4  Harrow would also be a great spot

Harrow would be a good place, something there for all bikes on about 1600 acres to.

Pardon my ignorance, but where exactly is Harrow?

Pretty much half way along the Vic-SA border, on the Vic side.

The scrambles track is an awesome genuine natural terrain track in a farmer's paddock.
The rest of the property has plenty of interesting riding, and its big.

Harrow is were they have a scramble round and also were one of the vinduro's is held at with the next one coming up on the 24th & 25th of July it would be great for the trial bikes as there is plenty of hilly rocky stuff and it would cater for any amount of people that wanted to go.

There is hundreds of photo's of 2009 Harrow Vinduro here www.endurobiketalk.com

Harrow is a good option.Great riding, nice country.Nothing nasty (unless Drakey tries to build a bridge again).Just have to convince Lochie to have a large mob of riders sharing the block with his sheep.
The location is a handy compromise to involve the SA,WA and TAS contingents too and the township is bike friendly.
WANTED. Canams;all models,complete or parts.SWM stuff too!

If the whole "pre-85 riders want supercross jumps" thing is actually true, then the only other downside to Harrow as a venue for CD8 is the lack of non-camping accomodation.

Is anyone in the know have any idea when would there be, or at least be expected, an "official" announcement as to the location for CD8 in 2011?
Would it be this year or early next year? With work I typically plan 12 months in advance so I am trying to work a business trip/expense into the location to offset the costs.
