Looks to me that DDR is a good option if you are not up to importing a bike yourself from the USA,as long as you dont mind paying around 3-5 times the bikes value if you had stumped up and got it direct from the US yourself.
On this subject I am experienced,its easy to see what they can be brought for out of the US,just check out Marks swapmeet/craigslist.

getting them rego`d depends on under what import approval they come in under if imported as a competition/off road only you cant get reg but if imported as a pre 89 bike you can

It's only his top shelf bikes that you could save a lot of money to bring in yourself.

I bought two TT500c's off him and paid $3,100 each and that's what they would of gone for all day long on ebay here.  People are paying $6-7,000 for a fully restored one and the bidding is usually pretty hot.  I'm sure I could of got them in the states for $800-1,200us then cart them to L.A. then ship them home, probably wouldn't of saved much.  Plus all the headaches as I've never done it before.  At least I got to look at about 8-10 TT's and take my pick.  As Pallooka said, I too found Wade to be honest and good to deal with.

Yes indeed,like I said, if you dont have the confidence to do it yourself,DDR is a good way to go.......
