Mikuni Flat Side Carb - Needle Jet Question
«

Would appreciate any help the technical legends of teh forum can provide.
I need to buy some needle jets for my VM38SS carb for my RM465/500.
I need the RO and R2 needle jets which Suzuki calls (6FJ41 & 6FJ42).
My issue is I called Ian Willians Tuning in Adelaide and they are asking for a 2-3 digit number on the needle jet. The R0/R2 and Suzuki references mean nothing to them....
Can anyone help clarify to me what I need to give to them??
Any and all help appreciated!!

Two different things, 6FJ41 is the needle and the R0 is the actual jet the needle goes into. What IWT is after is the series number of the jet, which will be stamped into it somewhere, IE 259,168 or similar.
