DR400/SP370 FRAME

DR400/SP370 FRAME (assuming the 400 motor fits the 370 frame).

I've meet a young guy 'doing it tough' at the mo and he's looking for a DR400 frame.

The story is his father bought him a DR400 to help him get to work. When he went to rego the bike he found out that it was an 'unrepairable write off' because of a damaged frame (someone repaired the frame by welding but it is an unacceptable repair.

I haven't seen the bike but I believe he has everything else just needs the frame.

Can anyone help out - as a freebie or cheap. He lives south of Campbelltown and the bike is with his father at Port Macquarie.

(I have no connection to this guy just helping out a young guy I've meet who is down on his luck at the mo - he seems a genuine guy.)

I've got a DR400 that I'm planning to strip, he can have the frame. The rear guard and seat supports are slightly bent but the rest looks good.

Thanks Steve.

I'll let the guy know via email (it might take a while to get things happening).

The bent bits shouldn't be a prob - he's a apprentice panel beater.

Hey Graeme,
I've got lots of DR400 bits he's welcome to, including an excellent frame. Postage would be a bugger from over here but you're still welcome if it helps another young bloke get back into it.
I've got all the electrical bits, seat, sidecovers, guards etc etc if needed as well.
